At a very young age going to the dealership with my father Ed Nimeck on the weekends where I started in the car business sweeping floors and washing cars. After attending Northwood University in the 1980's, where I graduated with a BBA in Accounting, Business, Marketing and Management, I began working full-time at my father's dealership Raceway Plymouth Chrysler Ltd.
Through the many years at Raceway working for my father, I spent time in every department, from service and parts, to the body shop and accounting. I touched every aspect of my father's business. Eventually, I found my niche in the sales department. I sold cars for four years before taking on a management role - first as Used Car Manager, then New Car Manager, and finally as the General Sales Manager over a period of 25 years.
In 1998, my brother Reg and I bought out our father who founded Raceway Plymouth Chrysler in 1968. We have since grown the business to include three other dealerships we continue to manage together.
My philosophy of life and business is simple, "treat people how you would like to be treated", which is how I treat my family, friends, employees and customers. I'm driven daily by my competitive nature to win and be one of the best. However, I believe my success is because of the people I surround myself with. People who share that same passion in life, who work because they love their job and meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations. We are here for you!
